We are Northview Gardens, a wedding venue created from a passion for gardening and the beauty of nature. Located in the north end of Peterborough Ontario, Rose & David held a grand opening in June 2013, offering Northview Gardens seasonally from May to October for weddings, life celebration services, corporate events, live music sessions, photoshoots, marriage revows, anniversaries, retirement and birthdays~ celebrations for all occasions. We are AGCO licensed, with 150 max capacity, full-service washrooms. AODA compliant. Accessibility and beauty are a top priority for any celebration at Northview Gardens adding to the ambiance and full services at Northview Gardens.

Ceremony Area and Grounds
Share your “I Do’s” at the Ceremony Area, within a natural wood beamed archway, seasonal vines, evergreens, grasses and hydrangeas, creating a finished ambiance with whimsical lanterns and strand lighting for those summer evenings. You may add your own decor, draping, barrels, signage and florals for an even more personal story.
Your guests may sit, relax and converse in our new ‘SkyView’, a covered, open air reception area away from the day’s weather elements, or throughout the grounds’ and gardens we provide comfortable furnished settings. Guests are welcome to mingle and stroll throughout the fully licensed gardens and grounds, enjoy the double swing, sample the hospitality at the Outdoor Patio, or sit in our beautiful iron carriage~perfect for any photoshoot.
Reception Area
The reception venue offers all the hospitality you need for your wedding reception needs. The Compass can host up to 150 people. Inside our large reception venue all guest tables, head tables and white chairs are included; The draped ceiling, elegant décor, mini lights, dessert station, coffee/tea stations, alongside the buffet serving area. The DJ corner is completed with our vintage disco ball for every bit of ambience you love on a wedding day. A full serve bar with bartender is provided inside the venue – AGCO licensed. Dinner is served within the venue, or for a smaller afternoon celebration, request “The SkyView”, our new outdoor reception area, which may also provide for any cocktail hour hospitality. After you share your first dinner as a married couple, the Dj takes over and provides the music for dancing and celebrating inside the venue.
Outdoor Patio Bar
After saying your “I Do’s”, take a stroll over to the Outdoor Patio Bar. The outdoor bar has everything you need for your outdoor event. Surrounded by lush gardens, take a seat and joy sipping on champagne or lemon water. Also offering a metal tub to host ice-cold beer. Enjoy drinks within the designated licensed area.

Our double swing arbour, the antique wedding carriage and Rose’s Vintage Gardenhouse and Parlor, highlights every piece of décor Northview Gardens has meticulously chosen and presented to create the perfect ambiance for an outdoor wedding and reception venue. You will enjoy many of our garden features as a perfect backdrop, creating a wonderful wedding day of memorable photos. Although we are primarily a wedding venue, Northview Gardens loves hosting different types of celebrations. Northview Gardens also hosts Life Celebrations, Vow Renewals, Anniversaries, Retirement, Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, Photoshoots, and Special Events. We offer our venue, grounds and gardens to artists, church & community groups, local entrepreneurs and businesses for their event needs.
